According to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), 2022 was the highest year on record for antisemitic incidents. In our own backyards, Massachusetts saw a 41% increase between 2021 and 2022. We will not rest until this trend is reversed. As a philanthropic organization, we’re focused on turning individual acts of kindness into collective impact that supports those facing vulnerability or crisis, making Jewish life and learning accessible to all, and investing in the stability and growth of the organizations that underpin Greater Boston’s Jewish community. One of the primary roles we play is connecting and convening people, organizations, and agencies to amplify our community and deliver on our collective needs—including rising up against growing antisemitic incidents. However, we can’t do this alone. Our mission is dependent on collaboration and allyship.

Over the past year, we assembled a dedicated group of community leaders and experts who served on CJP’s Fighting Antisemitism and Anti-Zionism Task Force. Through their work—and alongside our community partners—we’ve developed a 5-point plan to stand up to Jewish hate.

This plan was created to:

  1. Face Jewish hate
  2. Empower our community
  3. Build allyship
  4. Inform and educate the next generation
  5. Strengthen communal security

Additionally, CJP is proud to join the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism to raise awareness and empower everyone to fight back against the frightening trends of hatred toward Jews. We stand against Jewish hate today and every day. Together with our partners, donors, and allies, we will tirelessly work to fight antisemitism and ensure that our community thrives.

An initiative of CJP.
