Temple Sinai of Sharon is a Reform congregation that has been a house of worship, learning and community for over 50 years. We are a diverse and welcoming community, where our members, both adults and children, develop lasting relationships.

Our community is a diverse one — young and older; families with children, couples without children, people with varied levels of Jewish knowledge and observance, interfaith families, and gay and lesbian families.

We provide a broad offering of worship opportunities, learning experiences and programs. As a member of the Union for Reform Judaism, the national organization of Reform congregations, we have a wealth of resources available to our professional and lay leaders.

Our dynamic rabbi, Joseph Meszler, has been our spiritual leader since 2005. The author of several books, Rabbi Meszler loves to teach and be a part of people’s spiritual journeys.

Our cantor, Jeff Klepper, is nationally renowned. His melodies such as Shalom Rav have become synagogue standards and he recently served as a music editor for Mishkan T’filah, the new Reform movement sidur.

Temple Sinai’s outstanding NATE-accredited religious school is led by Nathaniel Fink, Director of Education. The school offers Hebrew and Judaic studies for grades K-12 as well as family education, community service and enrichment programs.

Temple Sinai is located on Canton Street in Sharon, Mass., surrounded by acres of conservation land. Our facility has an expandable 250-seat sanctuary filled with light and warmth; a spacious function hall that seats up to 300 (with a large dance floor); and a school wing with bright, modern classrooms. Our function hall is available for rent to non-members.
