Temple Sinai of Sharon presents Judith Lynn Stillman & Friends in “Echoes of Remembrance and Resilience,” a deeply moving and multifaceted musical journey exploring humanity’s capacity to remember, endure, and hope.

Through her own compositions honoring the victims of the Holocaust and the Armenian Genocide, celebrating the jeweled joy of birdsong, confronting the urgent realities of climate change, and embracing the profound connection between music and the human spirit, Stillman brings together seemingly disparate worlds in a compelling artistic reflection on our shared humanity and our responsibility to one another and the planet.

Joining Dr. Stillman are soprano Jess Huettman, soprano Teresa Eickel, and Cantor Becky Khitrik on clarinet. Together, these artists invite audiences to experience music as both witness and celebration as a way to honor those we must never forget, cherish the beauty surrounding us, and find resilience and hope in an uncertain world.

Judith Lynn Stillman holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees from Juilliard and collaborated with Wynton Marsalis on their acclaimed Sony Classical duo album, which reached the Billboard Top Ten. Her honors include the inaugural Pell Award for Excellence in the Arts and recognition as an Honored Artist of The American Prize for her achievements as a pianist and composer. Stillman is Artist-in-Residence and Professor of Music at Rhode Island College, Associate Conductor of HaZamir Providence, and High Holy Days Music Director at Temple Sinai in Sharon.
