Washington, this Jewish philanthropist joined forces with African American communities during the Jim Crow South to build 5,300 schools, providing 660,000 black children with access to education in the segregated American South.

Register before January 25 for $10 admission; $12 admission the day of the event. Admission includes the film, Q&A with the director, and refreshments. For additional information, contact Ami Blaszkowsky, Director of Education at education@yisharon.org.
