Join us for a night of Jewish music hosted by Honorable Menschen! With a cappella tunes ranging from Shabbat melodies to Yiddish remixes of Broadway classics, Honorable Menschen’s unique sound has delighted New England audiences since the group’s founding in 1997. They are thrilled to be joined by a few of their amazing musical friends as they get ready to celebrate nearly 20 years of singing.

Featuring guests:

  • Gittelle: Gitelle is a klezmer and Yiddish folk vocalist traversing the nuances of nusach with cantorial swing
  • Merchav: Merchav is a sacred folk duo devoted to creating musical spaces that relax the mind, refuel the spirit, and reimagine a kinder world. A collaboration between violinist/vocalist Amalia Kelter Xeitlin and singer/songwriter and rabbinical student Julia Sabra, Merchav’s music draw inspiration from liturgy, midrash, Tanakh, modern Hebrew poetry and Jewish social justice traditions.
  • Mixed MetaFour: Mixed MetaFour is an award-winning mixed-voice quartet, singing a variety of songs from the ’50s to Megan Trainor, from ABBA to the Eagles, from doo-wop to barbershop.
