Are you starting your college search? Or about to commit to your top choice for next year?

Join Temple Sinai for an important presentation by StandWithUs to help Jewish students navigate the challenges they may face on today’s college campuses.

The discussion will be led by Josh Warhit, Northeast High School Coordinator for StandWithUs. It will include positive steps to take on campus, and how to respond to Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) and other challenges on campus.

Warhit holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations and religion and served two years in the Israel Defense Forces before joining StandWithUs. He has spoken with thousands of students and community members.

StandWithUs is an international nonprofit whose mission is to support Israel around the world through education and combat extremism and anti-Semitism. Through print materials, speakers, programs, conferences, missions to Israel, campaigns and social media it aims to tell the story of Israel’s achievements and ongoing challenges to kids and adults in middle schools, high schools, college campuses and communities around the world.

Based in Los Angeles, StandWithUs has 18 chapters across the U.S., Canada, Israel and the U.K., with programs also in South Africa, China, Europe and Australia. Programs include campus leadership training, college student fellowships, teen internships for high schoolers and an Israeli fellows program.

This program is sponsored by Temple Sinai and is free and open to the community. Lunch will be served.
