Temple Sinai of Sharon is excited to welcome The Jabberwocks of Brown University, Brown’s oldest a cappella group, as part of Temple Sinai’s four-day Israeli ArtFest.
The performers include two local singers, Jake Tango, a Brown sophomore, who hails from Newton, and Sam Grady, a junior from Sharon.
The Jabberwocks, founded in 1949, have performed in a wide variety of venues, from serenading Miss America 1998 and singing the national anthem at both Shea and Veterans stadiums to Carnegie Hall and South Korean national TV. The group uses powerful music, choreography and humorous skits to push the envelope of a cappella excellence.
This award-winning group releases a CD every two years—don’t miss this special live performance. Tickets for this festive evening—which include appetizers, wine, dessert and a gallery of more than 1,500 pieces of Israeli artwork for sale from the Safrai Gallery in Jerusalem—can be purchased online.
