Join us as we celebrate 40 years of award-winning Jewish art and gifts! Make your own illumination, watch demonstrations and listen to two of Boston’s premiere Jewish a cappella groups, Honorable Menschen and Kol Echad.

There will also be sales, refreshments, free gifts and charity raffle tickets you can purchase for the chance to win four box seats to a Red Sox game.

There will be a variety of events throughout the day:

11-12:30 – Create an illumination with artist Debra Band
Make your own illuminated text with acclaimed artist Debra Band. An illuminated text is one that is decorated with small illustrations, border designs and/or calligraphy.

12:30-1:30 – Honorable Menschen a cappella performance
Pull up a seat for a musical performance by Honorable Menschen, one of Boston’s premiere post-collegiate Jewish a cappella groups, widely acclaimed for its unique blend of Jewish, Israeli and world music.

2-4 – Personalized calligraphy by Mickie Caspi
The party continues with celebrated local artist Mickie Caspi personalizing art for your family. These family signs are exclusive to this event and make a wonderful addition to your home or a thoughtful gift for a wedding or new family.

2-4 – Demo by “Make Way for Ducklings” sculptor Nancy Schön
World-renowned sculptor Nancy Schön will be demonstrating the process of wax molding and casting bronze. Schön displays art around the world and is famous for her “Make Way for Ducklings” statue in the Boston Public Garden.

Kol Echad, otherwise known as simply “KE,” is another of Boston’s premier Jewish a cappella groups. Composed of Boston University students, KE aims to deliver a musical experience that mixes contemporary Israeli and Jewish tunes with the ever-popular collegiate a cappella sound.
