Know how to read Hebrew but don’t necessarily understand what you are reading? Join Rabbi Sam Seicol for a class that explores the meaning and translation of some basic vocabulary of the liturgy and explains the history and sources of the prayers. Discussions will focus on the traditional and modern liberal ways of understanding the ways of Kavana (intentionality) for the prayers to be studied. Basic understanding and ability to read Hebrew is a requirement to participate in this class.

Due to the snow and impending storm, the Feb. 12 session of this class series is postponed. See you on Feb. 26.

The full dates for this class are Feb. 26, Mar. 5, Mar. 19, Mar. 26 and Apr. 2.
