In a place defined by conflict, where people have abandoned the idea of peace, emerges the energy of determined optimism. Disturbing the Peace follows a group of former Israeli soldiers from elite units and Palestinians who fought against them – including many who served years in prison. The group, named Combatants for Peace, comes together to say “enough!” and to support each other’s journeys to a steadfast belief in non-violence. A story of the human potential for hope and unity.
