Your favorite virtual series is back! (Or if it’s new to you—welcome!)
Join us for new sessions of Together at Home, CJP’s online monthly series for people in their 20s and 30s. Each month, we’ll bring you interactive opportunities to connect with like-minded peers and learn how CJP is supporting the Jewish community in Boston and beyond. And the best part—you don’t have to leave your house!
Whether this is your first time participating in a CJP program or you’re joining us again, this virtual series will help provide the connection you’re looking for.
Mark your calendars for these three sessions from March to May. We’d love to see you at all three, but don’t worry if you need to miss one.
Wednesday, March 10: Exploring Loneliness Together
In an interactive conversation led by Hadassah Margolis, MSW, LICSW, we’ll learn the different dimensions of isolation, understand its effects on our well-being, and explore how to manage it better. We’ll also hear from Amanda Hadad, CJP’s associate vice president for caring and social justice, and learn about Path to Well-being, a new joint initiative of CJP, McLean Hospital, and Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JF&CS), providing a no-cost, virtual Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) program for the Greater Boston Jewish community.
Monday, April 12: Making Tangible the Intangible: Objects That Hold Memory
Join artist Adriana Katzew and musician Yoni Battat, inaugural fellows of CJP and Jewish Arts Collaborative’s Community Creative Fellowship, in a workshop that honors the objects that hold our stories and connect us across time and space. Through the lens of a thousand-year-old Hebrew poem, participants will rediscover the significance and life in their own sacred objects by journaling, sharing, and photographing them. Together, Adriana and Yoni will help us draw our loved ones close and ground us in who we are, where we’ve come from, and where we’re going.
Thursday, May 13: Together at Home Goes Global: Virtual Mission Around the World
Missing travel? Feeling nostalgic about days spent exploring new places with friends? Let us help cure your wanderlust blues. Skip the airport and toss the packing list! Together, we’ll find travel inspiration while learning about CJP’s impact on the ground overseas—all from the comfort of our couch.
