Mad Men Troupec

The community is invited to A Concert to Remember David Garelick, an afternoon of inspiring music to benefit the Berkshire Hills Music Academy (BHMA).

Performance will be by members of the BHMA Performance Troupe. Musical selections will range from klezmer and swing music to traditional Peruvian music to songs popularized by such artists as Sting, Sonny and Cher, and Martha and the Vandellas.

The Garelick family, members of Temple Emeth, has a long association with BHMA, a post-secondary learning community for disabled individuals. On the occasion of this concert, Judy Garelick honors the memory of her beloved husband David.

As part of the concert, which will include vocals and a range of musical instruments, two members of the troupe will speak about living with disabilities.

A dessert buffet will follow the concert. The Garelick family requests donations be made to the Academy at www.berkshirehills.org or 413-540-9720.
