This intimate whiskey tasting explains the different types of whiskey, from bourbon to single malt, and from rye to Canadian, led by Joseph Hyman, formerly of Whiskey & Rare Spirits at Bonhams New York.

A leading authority in the field, Hyman has curated a number of successful auctions featuring a variety of superior offerings, from unusual American bourbons to notable decades-old scotches, rare Cuban rums, Cognacs dating back to the 1700s and exotic gins. This class will teach the history of the different whiskeys, the creation process and how to identify a good spirit.

A complimentary guided tour of the Vilna and its history will run approximately 45 minutes before the start of the program.

The Downtown Social Club is an opportunity for those between young adult and senior citizen to meet new downtown friends with common interests, spark great conversation and engage with the Vilna.
