Today there are over 65 million refugees worldwide, more than at any other point in world history. Unfortunately, the United States has severely limited the number of refugees it will admit, no longer serving as the safe haven it once was. But the Boston community is taking action.

Join us on World Refugee Day for a discussion about “Together We Rise,” a new initiative JVS and CJP are launching to take action and empower Boston’s refugees to gain economic success. We will be joined by CJP president Barry Shrage, a representative from WeWork and a refugee client currently enrolled in the program, who will share their story with us.

This event is co-hosted by CJP and the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. This event is sponsored by the Davis Family Charitable Foundation.
