Top Pick June 1, 2022 Boston Free
WhitherThouGoest
“Whither Thou Goest” by Sandy Freckle Tongagon

As the Jewish community approaches the Festival of Shavuot, JVS invites you to attend our Ruth Forum, this year exploring resilience.

First, we will learn how the biblical Ruth transitioned from death and sorrow to resilience and hope. Secondly, we will learn about the work of Widen the Circle, a nonprofit that highlights the resilience of those who seek to combat hate and prejudice by fostering a shared understanding of the past. And, finally, we will hear from a JVS client who will share her story of resilience, hope and triumph.

Speakers include Rabbi Noah Cheses, Joel Obermayer and Valeria Antoine, with opening remarks by Judy Obermayer.

Join us on Zoom or in-person.
