Dr. Norton J. Greenberger has served on the APF Board of Directors since 1994. He is currently clinical professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and senior physician in gastroenterology at Brigham & Women’s Hospital.

The keynote speaker, Dr. Bruria Adini, is the head of the Department of Emergency Management and Disaster Medicine in the School of Public Health at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. She is involved in field and academic activities targeted at preparedness and response to varied risks that may result in mass casualty events and/or disasters. She is a member of WADEM’s board, Local Authorities Confronting Disasters and Emergencies board and the Israeli National Council for Trauma and Emergency Medicine. Dr. Adini researches various aspects of emergency management, including advanced methods of evaluating capacities, perceived risks and utilization of social media in emergencies.
