Please join us for this year’s High Holy Days family services. During Rosh Hashanah, families gather in the sanctuary at 10:45 a.m. to hear the shofar before youth and family services. Children are invited to join us on the bima as we blow the shofar!
We offer three services:
Young Family Service (for parents and children ages 3-7)
- 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Following the shofar-blowing on Rosh Hashanah at 10:45 where families are invited up on the bima in the main sanctuary. Through songs, activities and stories, children and their parents enter the New Year together in an uplifting and joyful way, learning the themes of the High Holy Days.
Traditional Family Service (designed for all families, including parents, with a special focus on those with school-age children ages 8-12 years)
- 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Following the shofar-blowing on Rosh Hashanah at 10:45 where families are invited up on the bima in the main sanctuary. The service includes tefila (prayer), Torah, reflection, storytelling and a light Kiddush.
Teen Program (for students grades 7-12)
- 12-1 p.m. This is a place for our older students to meet, pray, reflect and learn about the Holy Day services on a deeper level. The services include prayer, readings and discussions.
