Downtown Young Families Havdalah featuring Israeli Dancing and tzedakah with JVS
Join us for a tzedakah-inspired program that helps children give back to their community and features dinner, arts and crafts, and Israeli dancing with Rashi School’s Junior Israeli Dance Troupe Kesem Katan. Featuring a partnership with Jewish Vocational Services., families will prepare small gift bags that will be given to JVS students graduating from English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), computer classes, or other skill building classes. Kesem Katan features students in grades 2-5 and is led Ellen Berkowitz, leader in the Boston Folkdance Company.
$36/family, includes dinner.

The Vilna Shul is the last immigrant era synagogue building that exists in downtown Boston. Located in historic Beacon Hill, the Vilna currently operates as a cultural center celebrating Jewish culture and its intersection with other cultures.

Validated parking is available for only $5 at the Charles River Plaza/Cambridge Street Garage at 165 Cambridge Street. Please note that this is NOT the outdoor lot at the Whole Foods, but the garage immediately after the Whole Foods lot before the Au Bon Pain. You should receive a green parking ticket that will need to be stamped at The Vilna. The Vilna is also accessible on all MBTA lines.
