The Israel Committee of Temple Emunah in Lexington invites everyone to join them for a special evening with a film, dinner, and discussion with the director of the movie “A Third Way – Settlers and Palestinians as Neighbors.”

This film describes the story of Rabbi Menachem Froman, known as the “settler rabbi for peace.” The story also focuses on his courageous protégés, both West Bank Israelis and Palestinians (notably Ali Abu Awwad). Rabbi Froman lived in the settlement of Tekoa for most of his adult life – but he was also close friends with Yasser Arafat, and also met many times with Sheikh Yassin, the religious founder of Hamas.

Harvey Stein, the movie’s director will be here to talk about the film and answer questions. We hope you can join us! Cost is $10 / person for the film and dairy dinner. The movie will start at 5:30 PM, with dinner and discussion with the director immediately following.
