Join JALSA and the Jewish community in support of our Chinese neighbors for a community night at Sichuan Gourmet in Brookline.

Right now, there is an incredible amount of xenophobia targeting the Chinese community over COVID-19, or the coronavirus. We want to make sure the Jewish community is supporting Chinese-owned businesses whose sales have been adversely affected by misinformation not based in science, but fear.

We will be joined by speakers from the Brookline Asian American Family Network: Chi Chi Wu and Hsiu-Lan Chang will talk about the racism that Asian Americans are experiencing in relation to the coronavirus and share their personal experiences.

The Jewish and Chinese communities share a commitment to stamping out bigotry and hate. Join with us in supporting the Chinese community and show that we will not let fear divide us.

Only 80 spots available for this buffet dinner, which will include many vegetarian options.

Please note that Sichuan Gourmet is not kosher-certified, so please join us only if this is within your practice to do so.
