Join us for an evening of film, conversation, and community as the Jewish Downtown Boston Movie Series presents the award-winning Israeli comedy-drama “Zero Motivation.”
Hosted by young professionals Benjamin and Sarah in partnership with BackRoom Boston, this series brings people together to experience Jewish stories on screen and connect with one another in the heart of downtown Boston. Come early to enjoy the patio, grab a snack, and meet new people before the film.
Winner of Best Narrative Feature and the Nora Ephron Prize at the Tribeca Film Festival, “Zero Motivation” is a sharp, hilarious comedy about a group of young women navigating the boredom, bureaucracy, and absurdities of military service in the Israeli army. The film also won six Israeli Film Academy Awards, including Best Director, Best Actress, and Best Screenplay.
