This November come to the Vilna Shul for Havurah on the Hill’s monthly Kabbalat Shabbat and hear from Adam Zucker, director of the eye-opening documentary The Return. Following the lives of a group of young Polish women discovering their Jewish roots, The Return takes you through the complexities of cultural heritage and personal discovery.
Enjoy a lively, non-denominational, and egalitarian Shabbat service, a full, kosher Shabbat dinner, and be part of a lively discussion about, film, the creative process, and what it’s like to be a Jew in today’s Eastern European social climate.
