We’re organizing a tour to Hudson Valley for families with teens and pre-teens. Although the group language is mostly Russian (or mixed, for Russian-American families), all tours within our trip are in English for the sake of our teens.

In this tour, you and your teens and pre-teens will be learning about Jewish first settlements in the area and will have a hands-on experience making bread and pickles at the Organic Jewish Farm. In addition, we’ll be visiting Bannerman Castle, Roosevelt Historical Site, a church with Mark Chagall’s stained glass windows, West Point Academy and many other interesting places.

We’re making independent reservations at the Holiday Inn Express in Fishkill, N.Y. Although we’d like everyone to stay at the same hotel, we understand that you might have different preferences, so you’re welcome to book another hotel within 10-15 miles from Beacon, N.Y. The tour is part of our “Independent with Jookender” series, meaning that you will have to travel to and from locations in your own car and meet others at each site.

This trip runs from Oct. 5-8.
