Join members of Hillel International’s student cohort community for real talk with Chella Man on life as a deaf, genderqueer, trans-masculine, Chinese Jewish powerhouse.

Whether you know him from television, YouTube, Instagram or one of his many talks, one thing is for certain—Chella holds and displays multitudes. Since leaving high school as a junior to attend college early, he has published his first book, “Continuum,” with Penguin, participated in numerous gallery shows and artist residencies internationally, worked as a columnist for Condé Naste’s first queer publication, Them, launched a radically inclusive clothing line in collaboration with Opening Ceremony, signed as the first deaf and trans-masculine model with IMG Models and was cast as a superhero within Warner Brother’s DC Universe in “Titans.”

He hopes to continue pushing the boundaries of what it means to be accessible, inclusive and equal in this world. Join us for a conversation led by student leaders from Hillel International’s Student Cabinet.

Co-sponsored by Hillel at New School, Hillel at Columbia University and Hillel International’s Center for Engagement, Inclusion and Wellness and Department of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice.
