Enjoy an Evening of Klezmer and Folk Music

Music, socializing and food.

Saturday, March 29 at 5 PM. 

Temple Emanuel of Lowell is hosting an evening of Klezmer and Folk Music. 

Rahel of Acoustic Breezes accompanied by accordionist, Jimmy Otis, will treat us to a lively set of Klezmer music.   We are expected to get up and dance.     Learn more about Rahel on her website www.rahelmusic.com.   

The Chameleons are a local group of musicians that have been playing together since 1997.   They will entertain us with a lively mix of popular folk music.   Visit their website for more information and to hear some of their music,  www.chameleons.org

Everyone is welcome to attend this evening of entertainment, music, socializing and of course noshes.    Since this is a fundraiser we ask that you make a donation, suggested donation is $10.  

Social Action has always been important to the TEMV.    Some of our social action activities:  Four times a year during Religious School we make and deliver about 200 lunches to the Lowell Transitional Living Center.   We are in the middle of our Spring Food Drive; we are collecting bags filled with food for people and their pets through Friday, April 11.    

Our services and events are open to all who are curious.   There is never a fee to attend a services
