Please join us for Queer Shabbat, brought to you by Nice Jewish Queers from Riverway Project! Qabbalat Shabbat for all at Temple Israel begins at 6 p.m., followed by Nice Jewish Queers’ dinner, drinks and conversation at 7:15 p.m. Feel free to come for services or just meet us for dinner. All who identify within the LGBTQIA community are welcome!
This Shabbat we will also be celebrating National Coming Out Day, which occurs on Thursday, Oct. 11. Coming out is a lifelong process, and as many of us know doesn’t just happen on one day of the year (or the week after!). We welcome all to celebrate and honor our identities, regardless of where you are on your coming out journey.
Questions? Comments? Allergy concerns? Contact Nikk Modell-Wasserman (they/them), Riverway Project coordinator, at nwasserman@tisrael.org, or Caroline Dorn (she/her/hers) at cdorn@templeshalom.org.
Temple Israel is wheelchair accessible.
