About Koleinu:
For a quarter-century, Koleinu, Boston’s Jewish Community Chorus, has been bringing Jewish music to life and building community through song. As a non-auditioned, inclusive choir, we believe in the power and joy of choral singing. Our members range from experienced vocalists to those who do not read music, creating a uniquely warm environment focused on cultural preservation and communal joy. Our performances weave together a rich tapestry of sacred, secular, traditional, and contemporary works sung in Hebrew, Yiddish, Ladino, and English. Koleinu proudly welcomes all participants, regardless of religious affiliation or musical training, providing a supportive space to learn, sing, and perform.
