Join Koleinu as they present a concert to comfort and to strengthen the spirit with music old and new. Cantor Michael McCloskey of Temple Emeth and clarinetist Cantor Becky Khitrik join Koleinu for selections by Max Janowski, Nurit Hirsh’s Nechama (“Comfort”) and music set to the poetry of Yehuda Halevi and to Yiddish tales of Jewish refugees and immigration.
Donations will be accepted at the door (no advanced tickets).
Koleinu, Boston’s Jewish Community Chorus, brings the joy of Jewish music and culture to the Greater Boston area and beyond. The 80-member chorus performs a wide range of sacred, secular, traditional and contemporary Jewish choral works in concerts and community collaborations, and it has appeared at the North American Jewish Choral Festival, the Boston Jewish Music Festival and the Greater Boston Community Chorus Festival.+ More... - Less...
