The wittiest spiel for blocks around, home made hamantashen, groggers, the whole Magilla – Havurat Shalom’s Purim party is great fun and you should join us! We’re providing a pizza and salad dinner. And of course, there’ll be spiel between reading chapters of the Book of Esther. Costumes encouraged, but not required.
The Havurah is again participating in Yad Chessed’s Purim tzedakah program. Yad Chessed provides food assistance and other aid to Jewish families in need. Half the funds we raise on Purim will go to Yad Chessed, and half to the Havurah’s own tzedakah fund. Last year we raised $360.00. Help us top that number this year!
