Rabbi A. J. Heschel’s The Sabbath, a class with Reb Moshe Waldoks

Next Event: January 13, 2015 Brookline

Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to explore making Shabbat a part of your life. There are challenges for those who are not in the Orthodox community to create a meaningful weekly respite that will enhance our lives. All Jews are heirs to the Sabbath, perhaps the greatest contribution of the Jewish people to the world. Let’s explore together how we at TBZ can enhance our personal observance and practices.

Our first session on Jan. 13th will feature special guest Dr. Susannah Heschel, Professor of Jewish Studies at Dartmouth College. We request that everyone read her father’s marvelous teaching, The Sabbath by Abraham Joshua Heschel, before attending the class. The following sessions on Jan. 20th and Jan. 27th will offer us an opportunity to formulate our relationships to Shabbat.
