“Beneath the Surface for All” is a one-of-a-kind b-mitzvah program for all youth and a parent or other important adult.

This three-session Sunday afternoon program is an opportunity for youth and one of their parents or another important adult to explore the transition of becoming a b-mitzvah. Participants will share transitions and rituals separately and together. Each group will create a personal ritual to mark this unique time in their lives.

We warmly welcome all youth, including those who are trans and nonbinary. Adults of all genders are welcome to take part in this program with their child. Adults of any (or no) religious background who are raising Jewish child(ren) are warmly welcomed.

The fall session is geared (but not limited) to families with b-mitzvah celebrations between December 2024 and September 2025.
