“Roots: Tapping Into the Wisdom of Our Forebears and Stewarding the Future of Our Children and Grandchildren” is an ongoing adult education course open to the community. Dr. Davin Wolok and Cantor Michael McCloskey will lead an exploration of the importance of legacy and our role within the world in Judaism.
This year’s theme is Jewish pride. Focus will be on the great ideas Jewish civilization gave to the world, including charitable giving, ecology, compulsory education and asylum and protection of the disenfranchised.
Class meets on Thursday mornings throughout the year. Coffee and light breakfast are served.
