Ethnomusicologist and professional musician Dr. Samuel Thomas will lead Kabbalat Shabbat favorites to Sephardic melodies. After services, there will be an Oneg Shabbat reception and an opportunity to explore Sephardic culture.
Dr. Thomas is the leader of the band Asefa, and artistic director of the New York Andalus Ensemble.
