Sex, flirting and romance are of central importance to teens—and even in this time of social distancing, teens still need their parents’ guidance to navigate this important aspect of their lives.
Please join Moving Traditions CEO Deborah Meyer, along with Moving Traditions staff and Kol Koleinu Teen Fellows, as we speak with Jennifer S. Hirsch and Shamus Kahn, coauthors of the landmark study “Sexual Citizens,” who will share their research findings and discuss implications for teens and their parents.
Hirsch, Khan and their colleague Claude Ann Mellins’ groundbreaking research on sex, power and assault at Columbia University and Barnard College has been featured in The New Yorker, The Atlantic and other leading national publications. The coauthors are seeking to transform the way our society responds to the public health crisis of sexual assault on campus by looking at its social roots, and by providing a road map that will lead to healthy and mindful sexual interactions.
The webinar is geared toward parents of seventh to 12th graders. Clergy and Jewish educators are also welcome.+ More... - Less...
