Take charge of your heart health by understanding the numbers that matter most — blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar. In this interactive session, nursing students from UMass Boston will guide you through how to track your results, interpret what they mean, and recognize when it’s time to talk to your health care provider.

Participants will also have the opportunity to practice using a blood pressure cuff and complete a personalized Heart Health Tracker, putting knowledge into action and setting meaningful goals for maintaining healthy numbers.

This event is offered in collaboration with UMASS Boston College of Nursing & Health Science in honor of Heart Health Awareness Month.

This program is for general educational purposes only. The presenters are nursing students and are not able to provide personal medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. For questions about your own health, we encourage you to consult your health care provider.
