“SHACHARIT” Education Program starts soon!

September 14, 2014 Newton

The SHACHARIT Education program at Temple Shalom in Newton is now welcoming new families this fall! SHACHARIT is Temple Shalom’s new, first of its kind, innovative program for kids in kindergarten through sixth grade. Join us and explore a living Judaism filled with opportunities for connection and hands-on Jewish learning. Go on a robotic exploration of Israel, explore Hebrew through movement, learn about Jewish values and “mensch munch” on environmentally sustainable snacks, explore your “dramatic” side while learning Jewish history, share in our spiritual and thoughtful family tefila (prayer) and so much more! Our program welcomes interfaith families, the LGBTQ community and children of diverse learning styles.

If you would like to learn more about our pluralistic, joyful and connected Jewish community, the SHACHARIT education program or our other educational opportunities please connect with Rabbi Berry or any of our educators. Please check out our website at: www.tsyouth.org or contact Rabbi Berry and her staff at 617-332-9550 or sbraun@templeshalom.org.

We welcome you and encourage you to explore all our community has to offer! Please check-out our website at www.templeshalom.org to learn about upcoming events and adult learning opportunities.
