Join us for the completed version of “Soul Witness,” which sold out several screenings as a work-in-progress. The film is based on over 80 hours of Holocaust survivor interviews conducted by world-renowned Holocaust testimony expert Lawrence Langer. The testimonies had been locked in a metal closet for decades and uncovered for the making of this film.

The event will also feature:

  • Coolidge Corner Theatre director Katherine Tallman introducing the evening
  • Producer/director R. Harvey Bravman on the story behind “Soul Witness”

All proceeds from the screening will go to the nonprofit Coolidge Corner Theatre Foundation.

The film is intended for a general audience with an advisory for children under 13.

Supporters of the film include Facing History and Ourselves and the Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies. More information on the film is available at soulwitness.org.
