Earlier this week, members of our congressional delegation stood up for DREAMers. Join us to thank them and ask them to continue fighting!

JALSA will be gathering at the MA State House to thank the members of the MA congressional delegation who voted earlier this week to protect DREAMers and advocate for Congress to pass a clean Dream Act. We are calling on them to remain steadfast in their defense of immigrants as they will be tested in the coming weeks when yet another budget vote takes place.

We will be gathering at the State House cafeteria during lunch to create mezuzah cases (traditional Jewish door hangings that symbolize our Jewish values), which we will send to the congressional delegation. Our Jewish value, to keep our doors open to all, is at stake. We encourage our congresspeople to continue advocating for an America that remains welcoming and open for this generation of immigrants and refugees!

You can also support our action by sharing our Facebook live stream tomorrow at 12 p.m.! We will be using #CleanDreamActNow.
