Join us for two short films featuring Prince Amponsah, a Toronto-based actor who is a burn survivor and amputee.

“The Things You Think I’m Thinking” (15 minutes)
A black male burn survivor and amputee goes on a date with a regularly abled man. After the bar, they go back to his apartment, where he faces his demons as he attempts to experience intimacy for the first time since his accident 10 years ago.

“Prince’s Tale” (16 minutes)
A profile of Prince Amponsah, a Toronto actor rebuilding his career as a performer after an apartment fire that left his body badly scarred and resulted in the amputation of both of his arms.

Preceded by the short film “Leftover” (10 minutes)
A young man leaves home to join a peace rally. On his way, he starts to experience strange occurrences.

The screening is followed by a live-streamed discussion with Prince Amponsah.
