The Chabad Center of Sudbury invites you an awesome kid-friendly Tu B’Shevat event! Even though it’s hard to imagine flowers blooming anytime soon, the Jewish new year for trees is just around the corner! Tu B’Shevat is the perfect time to celebrate growing. Because kids, just like trees, grow bigger and stronger every day.

The best way to stay strong and healthy is to take care of our bodies and souls. That’s why at this year’s Tu B’Shevat CKids Club, we’re going to enter the health bar and become cooking chemists! We’ll find out what nature, fruit and the environment can teach us about living well.

Kids won’t keep their new skills to themselves. Experimenting with all types of nutritious yummies, we will create our own delicious health bars to take home—complete with a custom label and recipe card. The same healthy recipe can be made again and again in your own kitchen!

Next up at the CKids Club is the taste buds game show! We’ll use our tasting abilities and our powers of description to work with teammates and guess the names of different Tu B’Shevat flavors. Each round will end off with a trivia challenge, testing our newfound knowledge.

Practicing healthy habits while learning about a special Jewish holiday? Sounds like a double win. It’s the holiday activity you don’t want to miss!

In addition, for some extra fun, kids will be able to enjoy creative fun with fruits as they make fruit kebabs and fruit animals and enjoy delicious fruit smoothies.
