Please join us to celebrate the release of “We Share the Same Sky,” a podcast by Rachael Cerrotti, presented by USC Shoah Foundation.

“We Share the Same Sky” is a narrative podcast that mixes historical documentary and present-day memoir to talk about the Holocaust in a new way. Rachael spent years following the escape route her grandmother took to survive the Holocaust to track down the people who saved her grandmother’s life. The decade of research changed her life in ways she never expected. The podcast comes with a curriculum used in thousands of classrooms across the country that is open to the public.

The event will include food and drink and a behind-the-scenes conversation moderated by the editor of WBUR’s Cognoscenti, Frannie Carr Toth, and recorded live. She’ll interview co-producers Rachael Cerrotti and Erika Lantz for a rare look into how they created the podcast and the questions they’re still left with.
