Women’s Community Seder

April 3, 2016 Lexington $10.00 - $18.00

Temple Emunah’s Women’s Seder Committee cordially invites all women—daughters, mothers, sisters, and friends—to A Women’s Community Seder honoring the history of Jewish women in Boston on Sunday, April 3, 2:00-5:00 PM. This year’s Seder will combine music, sharing, and learning, as we come together to celebrate the meaning of Passover by honoring the women who settled the Jewish community of Greater Boston. We will dance, sing (songs led by Sandy Bornstein), and eat in the spirit of the Passover Seder. Light refreshments will be served. We will once again be collecting brown rice, whole grain crackers, and tzedakah for the Jewish Family & Children Services Family Table. Registration is requested by March 23, 2016

We invite you to bring a haiku reflecting either Passover traditions or the Jewish Boston community to be read aloud during the Seder. A haiku is a three-line poem. The first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 syllables, and the third line has 5 syllables.
