Bring Yom Kippur to a close in an interfaith and family-friendly setting. Rabbi Katy Allen of Ma’yan Tikvah – A Wellspring of Hope will lead the event. It will begin in the sanctuary with an interactive discussion appropriate for families and adults on the meaning of Yom Kippur. At 6 p.m., there will be a hike to the top of nearby Coolidge Hill for a brief sunset concluding prayer service that will be accessible to people of all faiths. Return to Common Street for a potluck meal to break the fast.
People of all ages and faiths are welcome. Please bring a vegetarian dish to share. In case of rain, start time will be 6 p.m.+ More... - Less...
