The National Jewish Book Award winner presents two thought-provoking and enriching lectures. At Temple Sinai she discusses “Sing – Now! – To God”: Miriam and Moses, centering on the mysterious relationship of leaders, prophets and siblings Miriam and Moses. Then at Temple Israel, “Wherefore Could Not I Say ‘Amen?’”: Balaam and Moses, focuses on the prophet Balaam’s narrative and how it relates to the Israelite wilderness history.
