The Cummings/Hillel Program for Holocaust and Genocide Education, in partnership with Tufts Hillel and TAG: Tufts Against Genocide present our annual keynote with Eva Mozes Kor, survivor of Dr. Josef Mengele’s experiments on twins during the Holocaust, activist, and educator.
Join us on Tuesday, April 8 at 8pm in Cabot/ASEAN Auditorium at Tufts to hear Ms. Kor’s story and have ample time for Q&A.
About Eva Kor:
Eva Mozes Kor is a survivor of the Holocaust and forgiveness advocate. Eva has emerged from a trauma-filled childhood as an example of the human spirit’s power to overcome.
In 1978, after NBC’s miniseries The Holocaust aired, Eva began to wonder what had happened to the children after the liberation. Eva enlisted the help of her sister Miriam, who was living in Israel. Together, they began locating other survivors of Dr. Mengele’s deadly experiments, and, in 1984, Eva founded CANDLES: Children of Auschwitz Nazi Deadly Lab Experiments, and named her sister Vice President for Israeli Survivors.
Today, Holocaust education, the story of the Mengele Twins, and personal forgiveness form the foundation of CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center.
Event Location: Tufts University
Cabot/ASEAN Auditorium at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, 170 Packard Ave, Medford, 02155
