We all love films, and we love talking about films with you, so we’re launching the Boston Jewish Film Club so we can get together to talk about films! For each film club meeting, we will share information on how to screen the film on your own beforehand and provide light refreshments during the event.

“Fiddler’s Journey to the Big Screen” captures director Norman Jewison’s vision to recreate the lost world of Jewish life in Tsarist Russia and reimagine “Fiddler on the Roof,” the beloved stage musical on the big screen. Narrated by Jeff Goldblum, the film interweaves behind-the-scenes footage, never-before-seen stills and interviews with Jewison and many cast and crew members from the movie, including Chaim Topol z”l, who played Tevye on the stage and screen.
