The show will explore and celebrate the cultural legacy of the enormously talented Jewish composers and lyricists who have given us so many memorable Broadway musicals, a truly American art form. The production will showcase musical talent from the congregation and from the wider community, with congregation members Lauren Denis, Bruce Goss, and Dennis McHugh as Artistic Director, Music Director, and Assistant Music Director. The theater will rock with selections from “Fiddler” to “Wicked,” “Guys and Dolls” to “A Chorus Line,” “Porgy and Bess” to “Chicago” to “Les Mis” and everything in between.
The public is cordially invited to this evening to remember, supported in part by a grant from the Chelmsford Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. Admission is free, and refreshments will be available.
