Sponsored by the Wiener Holocaust Library in London, this event will address combating “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion” 100 years ago and why this remains significant today.

It focuses on a historical event in the UK from 1920, in the wake of the Bolshevik Revolution, that inflamed long-held antisemitic stereotypes, as well as on the response from the British Jewish community. Speaker David Feldman is the head of the Birkbeck Institute for the Study of Antisemitism at Birkbeck College, University of London.

In this lecture, Feldman explores the appeal of conspiracy theory in these post-war years and the responses of British Jews to the threat they faced. He asks how this history can illuminate the challenges we face combating antisemitism today.

Please note the five-hour time difference between Boston and the UK.
