Please join local filmmaker Nazda Alam for a screening and discussion of her documentary, “Rohingya: Atrocities against Women,” along with other panelists.

This groundbreaking short documentary raises the voices of Rohingya women calling for an end to rape and torture as a weapon of war in Myanmar. The plight of the Rohingya Muslims remains a precarious one. Since 2017, over 700,000 people have been forced to flee their homes and take refuge in camps in neighboring Bangladesh.

The documentary will be screened in Viking Hall 123 (next to Starbucks on campus), Central Campus, 71C Loring Ave.
