Havdalah on the Hill Young Families Night and Tzedakah Program

May 2, 2015 Boston $18.00

Join the Vilna Shul this May for our latest Young Family Havdalah and Tzedakah Program!

This month we’re collecting summertime items for children in Boston. We’ll begin with a kosher buffet dinner followed by a brief Havdalah service led by local musician Nick Burka. Then children 6 and older and any who want to participate will begin gathering and sorting collected summer items for donation. We’ll then enjoy music to round out the evening.

This program is ideal for children ages 6 and older, but all are welcome to participate in the event! We will have a music and play setup for younger children and for all children who may be more inclined to play or enjoy music.

Here are some suggested items you can bring to the summer drive:
• Books for children and young adults (please, no outdated or heavily damaged books.)
• Active outdoor activities – jump rope, balls, bats, sidewalk chalk, non-toxic bubbles
• Bikes/scooters
• Bikes/sunscreen
• Swimsuits
• Re-usable water bottles (BPA Free. Metal preferred.)

Please make your RSVP on our website or give us a call. If you have any questions or concerns please email jessica@vilnashul.org or call (617) 523-2324. We want everyone to participate, regardless of background or economic situation.
